(nutmeg) bark using n-hexane extract based on DPPH radical scavenging and microculture tetrazolium salt (MTT) assay. The chemical structural analysis using NMR, FTIR, and LC-MS spectroscopy confirmed and identified the structure of isolated compound namely (2E)-5(2z.4E)-hexa-2,4,-dio-zyl)-2propylcyclohexanol (C&lt;sub&gt;18&lt;/sub&gt;H&lt;sub&gt;30&lt;/sub&gt;O&lt;sub&gt;4&lt;/sub&gt;) for the first time which is corresponding for the excellent antioxidant and anticancer activity against MCF-7 cell lines with the IC&lt;sub&gt;50&lt;/sub&gt; value of 99.76 and 10.75 ppm, respectively.&lt;/p&gt;
