Abstract: Background: TK Hospital management information system . IV DR Sumantri Parepare is not yet fully integrated and SIMRS must be developed to meet the criteria. Objective: This research aims to analyze the use of the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) at TK Hospital. IV DR. Sumantri Parepare, Parepare City. Method: The type of research used in this research is qualitative research and data collection using interviews, observation, documentation. With key informants and supporting informants using purposive sampling techniques. Results: The research results show that in terms of HR input the number of officers is sufficient and training has been given to officers regarding SIMRS, there are funds available, the availability of computers is not sufficient, SIMRS is not yet integrated , the infrastructure inadequate , inadequate implementation of SOPs and socialization Not yet done. The ability of medical records staff to use SIMRS is not optimal , there is incompleteness in filling out medical resumes and informed consent in SIMRS and reporting is carried out every month, quarterly and annually, but experiences delays. Conclusion: Improvement efforts that can be made include disseminating information about the importance or benefits of SIMRS in backing up and searching for data that is entered routinely.
